Machine Embroidery File FAQs

What am I purchasing?

All listings on Curtsy Embroidery are digital machine embroidery files. No physical item, patch, or finished shirt will be mailed.

Do I need an embroidery machine?

Yes. You must have an embroidery machine and the ability to transfer digital embroidery files to your machine.

What file formats are included?

Most listings include PES, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, VIP, VP3, XXX, and additional common embroidery formats. Please check individual listings for specific details.

Are fonts included?

Unless specifically stated in the listing, fonts and monograms are not included with the embroidery files.

Can I sell finished items made using your designs?

Yes! Small business commercial use is allowed for physical finished items made using our embroidery files. You may not resell, share, copy, or distribute the digital files themselves.

How do I access my downloads?

Digital files are available for download immediately after purchase. You will also receive an email with your download links.

Do you accept returns or cancellations?

Due to the digital nature of embroidery files, refunds, returns, and cancellations cannot be accepted once files have been downloaded.

Are mockup and lifestyle photos exact product photos?

Some lifestyle and mockup images throughout this website may contain AI-assisted or AI-generated imagery used for product presentation purposes.
